- The Cubs lost again last night and are still not hitting. This team needs to pull it together, and soon!
- Lou Piniella could have a move up his sleeve to wake up this slumping lineup according to multiple reports. Alfonso Soriano could be moved back to his original position at 2B. Lou said after the game that he might sit slumping Mike Fontenot for a while, so it could be possible.
- Micah Hoffpauir would be the guy to take over in LF. The Cubs lineup would have lots of potential with that many big bats!
- Jake Peavy rejected a trade to the White Sox yesterday. He will pitch against the Cubs at 9:05 CT tonight. I really don't think the Cubs are interested in adding pitching right now, we need some hitters!
- Carlos Zambrano will go for the Cubs in that game tonight. Someone will have to be sent down for him to come off the DL. My guess would be Jose Ascaino, but it could be Neal Cotts or David Patton.
I'll keep you posted.
