Cubs get a win, Callups, and More

Today the Cubs got a win beating the Astros 2-0! They took two of three in the series and remember Cubs fans... the grind isn't over until it's over.

• David Patton was activated from the DL today. How he pitches in this final month could determine whether or not he will be given a shot to make the clubs next spring.
• Jeff Samardzija could be back soon. The Cubs will likely add a few more pitches this month. These could be auditions for next year's bullpen.
• Many of the Cubs still have hope for this season. Koyie Hill mentioned that the Astros in 2005 were 10 back at the end of August and ended up in the World Series.
• The Cubs seem unsure of Rich Harden's future with the clubs beyond this year.
