Cubs and Cardinals rained out

Well, tonight's game between the Cubs and Cardinals at Wrigley Field has been postponed due to bad weather. The game will be made up on July 12. The two teams will play a double header on that day, Game 1 at 12:05, and Game 2 at 7:05.

Lou Piniella will send Rich Harden to the mound Tuesday night against the Reds. Lilly will start Game 2 of that series and Zambrano will start Game 3.

So the Cubs have a scheduled day off tomorrow, so that means 2 days of no Cubs baseball!

The Cubs and Reds play night games on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then wrap the series up with a 1:20 game Thursday afternoon. There is a 70% chance of rain on Tuesday, so we might have to go 3 days in a row with no Cubs Games! It is supposed to be HOT in the Chicago land area by the end of the week, a high of 72 on Thursday and Friday!
