New Poll

Thanks to everyone who voted on our last poll! Here are the results from this week:

Q: What NL Central Opponent are you most worried about?

Results:
Cardinals: 73% (11 Votes)
Brewers: 13% (2 Votes)
Reds: 1 Vote
Pirates 1 Vote

I wonder if the person who voted for the Pirates was joking or really was an optimistic Pirates fan. No love for the Astros by the way, they did not receive a single vote.

What division games do you look forward to the most?
A. Cubs/Cardinals
B. Cubs/Brewers

Speaking of, the Cubs and Cardinals will do battle today at 2:40 CT on FOX in game 3 of a 4 game series. Ryan Dempster VS Kyle Lohse is the pitching match up.

I did not get a chance to recap yesterday's game, but I'm sure you've all read about or saw the dramatic game between the Cubs and Cards yesterday. Carlos Zambrano gave up 7 runs in 7 innings, but the Cubs hitters came back and the Cubs won the game 8-7.

Game Highlight: Alfonso Soriano's clutch 2-run go-ahead homer in the bottom of the 8th to put the Cubs in front 8-7.

My Player of the Game: Ramirez had a great day at the plate and Soriano had that big home run, but I'm going to give the player of the game to Carlos Marmol and Aaron Heilman who both worked scoreless innings out of the pen. The Cubs VS Cardinals games are never over, and Marmol got the save. Heilman worked a good 8th to keep the Cubs in the game.

Well, let's do it again today!
