Guzman, Hendry, and More

Guzman's Season Over
Angels Guzman, who has been out with a muscle strain, will be shut down for the rest of the season. Guzman will get his arm ready for next spring, when he is expected to be a big piece to the Cubs bullpen. The Cubs will depend on some of the younger guys at the end of games next year like Marmol and Guzman. Caridad, Samardzija, and Berg (among others) will also compete for jobs down there.

Bradley Update
Milton Bradley's mom says that Milton would be open to return to the Cubs because of his love for the game of baseball.

Hendry to Get one More Shot?
There's no doubt that Jim Hendry had a bad offseason last winter. However, nobody could have predicted the bad performances on the field by guys like Soto, Fontenot, Bradley, Soriano, and Gregg. Rick Morrissey feels that despite some big mistakes, Jim could still get this team turned around.
